Riskdex™ Overview

Riskdex™ is a free search engine provided by Identacheck.com that is targeted for background research of individuals and organizations.

What it Does

The engine searches against Identacheck's risk relevant index. This index contains links to publicly available articles and web pages that contain information on individuals or organizations with "negative" or risk relevant activity. This negative activity can include:

Criminal	Financial	Terrorism	Sanctions
Misdemeanors Felonies Sex offenses Judgments	Money laundering Fraud Theft Bankruptcies & liens	Terrorist organizations Known members Affiliated organizations	Sanctioned parties Embargoed countries

The search page provides search term fields for first name, last name and organization name along with a qualifier field that lets you specify the type of negative activity you wish to find. Search results are simply a list of articles and web pages containing the terms you searched for and Identacheck makes no claims of involvement by the parties you are researching.

Such a system may be beneficial as a supporting tool for background research and can be leveraged by:

Landlords for tenant screening
Financial institutions for due diligence checks
Creditors for financial history verification
Employers for employee screening

How it Does It

The Identacheck team has developed a system called Identabot which is an advanced web crawler or "bot" that continuously indexes content "negative" activity by individuals or organizations.
